Have you considered whether the laptop that you choose meets your health and safety requirements? It is probably not something which would normally come into your mind when looking for a computer. Think about the position that you will be in when you are using it.

A laptop is obviously meant to be used on your lap but a lot of people use it lying on the bed or the floor; in public transport you may want to sit it on the seat next to you. There are lots of people today who have to take time off work because they suffer from upper body pains and it is believed that frequently using a laptop in an uncomfortable position attributes to a significant number of them. They are often referred to as RSIs (Repetitive Strain Injuries).

If you use your laptop as your main computer rather than just when you are on your travels, it is a good idea to put it on a desk so that your elbows have a hard surface to rest on and give you support. Then get a separate keyboard and mouse so that you can make sure that the screen is at eye level, if necessary put it on a docking station or other stand of some sort. This means that there will be less pressure put on your neck. Check that the height of your chair corresponds to the height of your desk.

If you do use your laptop a lot when on the move make sure that you are in a comfortable position. Try to have the screen as high as possible so that you don’t have to bend your neck too much as this will also affect the curvature of your spine which can cause long term injury. It is better if you can be in as upright position as possible.

Clean the screen often to get rid of fuzziness and make sure that you look at it at a distance from your eyes so as not to cause damage to them.

Finally, whatever way you use your pink laptop, it is a good idea to get up and exercise from time to time and just simply get away from the computer totally for a while.

I realize that it sounds absurd but us girls all make these silly mistakes from time to time and you certainly wouldn’t be the first person to do it. So prior to starting looking make certain that you know how big it needs to be.

Of course having a pink laptop bag which weighs too much will also be a problem when you have to carry it around a lot. I knew a girl whose case was almost as heavy as her laptop computer. She sure looked cool and fashionable but little did other people know how she suffered. She quickly got fed up and bought one that suited her better.

Another point is that not only will it be how heavy the women’s laptop bag is to consider but, no doubt you will often want to leave home armed with a bottle of water, a snack for lunchtime and perhaps a change of clothes even. What better place to carry it all than in your bag. That is all extra weight so you might be wiser choosing a lighter bag to make up for it.

The next point that you should be thinking about is how secure your case will be. As a generalisation a soft case looks more cool than a hard framed bag but is more more likely to have worse “accidents” it gets bashed against a door, wall or something. Also, how do you intend to carry it? You can have a backpack style laptop case, one that hangs over your shoulder, one that you carry in your hand or if more suitable one that can be pushed.

So it is up to you to choose what is the more important to you. Obviously the fashion of pink laptop cases speaks for itself but is that sufficient? I’m certain that now you have read this you will think about how big, how heavy and how secure almost as important as you pick which case is most ideal for you.
